Mr. Schaffer practices in Zuber & Taillieu’s litigation department. Mr. Schaffer is a litigator of the very highest caliber, with truly vast and varied experience, and uniquely exceptional credentials. Mr. Schaffer has handled over 30 bench and jury trials in both federal and state courts. He has extensive appellate advocacy experience in both federal and state courts. In addition to his trial and appellate advocacy experience, he has successfully settled several hundred cases for his clients. Mr. Schaffer’s practice includes various areas of law across a broad spectrum of general commercial business litigation. He has handled cases involving intellectual property, unfair competition, entertainment, securities, real estate, RICO, and a variety of other areas of law. Mr. Schaffer is also a skilled mediator, and has mediated over 100 cases for the U.S. District Court of the Central District of California, and the Los Angeles Superior Court. He has also served since 1979 as a Judge Pro Tem with the Beverly Hills and Santa Monica Municipal Courts. Prior to private practice, Mr. Schaffer clerked for The Honorable Stanley N. Barnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
