Ms. Heimann-Nunes chairs Zuber & Taillieu LLP’s location-based entertainment department. Prior to joining Zuber & Taillieu LLP, she practiced law as an executive at NBC Universal Entertainment, first as Senior Director of Business and Legal Affairs of Universal Creative, then as Senior Director of Business and Legal Affairs of Universal Studios Parks & Resorts. At Universal, her responsibilities included negotiating and drafting design and production agreements, creative services agreements, ride-system acquisition agreements, professional services agreements, sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements, strategic partnership agreements, talent agreements, and myriad other agreements; managing outside counsel services; advising on corporate, intellectual property, employment, and insurance issues relating to project development, rights acquisition, construction, union relations, risk management, and other areas; and managing dispute proceedings and resolutions. Ms. Heimann-Nunes began her legal career as a corporate and intellectual property attorney at the Chicago headquarters of Mayer Brown LLP, one of the 12 largest law firms in the world according to The American Lawyer. In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Heimann-Nunes has significant business experience, including having served as Executive Director of the renowned Chicago landmark The Chicago Theatre. Ms. Heimann-Nunes’ dedication to community service currently includes serving as Chair of the Historic Theatres Committee of the Los Angeles Conservancy. Her influence inside and outside of the legal industry inspired Today’s Chicago Women to name her one of “100 Women in Chicago Making a Difference.”
