Yusuke Kishimoto is admitted to practice law in Japan. As a Japanese lawyer, Mr. Kishimoto has assisted with a full range of matters under Japanese law, including:
• the conduct of business litigation as to securities, real property and intellectual property disputes;
• negotiation and drafting of documentation of cross-border merger and acquisition transactions and establishment of global distributorship arrangements; and
• structuring of intellectual property portfolios and their exploitation with reference to perfection of rights, competition law, privacy and moral rights.
He has often assisted in resolution of complex disputes through astute engagement of experts to establish common understandings of underlying conditions, including technical baselines.
Mr. Kishimoto’s professional activity includes service as a member of a committee of the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association focused on labor legislation, drawing upon his experience in advising management of publicly-traded companies and in respect of executive compensation matters.
Prior to commencing his association with Zuber Lawler & Del Duca LLP, Mr. Kishimoto was Chief Associate at the Commons Law Office in Tokyo, where he began practice upon admission to the bar in Japan in 2009.
