ZT Adds New Partner Jeremy J. Gray
Zuber & Taillieu is delighted to announce the addition of seasoned employment attorney Jeremy J. Gray, who joins Zuber & Taillieu as a Partner. Prior to joining Zuber & Taillieu, Jeremy was a Partner and Co-Chair of the Employment Law Group at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, one of the nation’s largest law firms. Jeremy earned his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School, where he graduated 2nd in his class, and presided as Chief Note and Comment Editor of the Law Review.
Jeremy is a highly experienced employment counselor and litigator possessing comprehensive knowledge about employee relations issues. In defense of his clients, he has disposed of cases at the pleading stage, via summary judgment motions, and via trial verdicts. He has extensive experience managing employment matters in a variety of venues, including state courts, federal courts, arbitrations, labor boards, etc. He also regularly negotiates and drafts employment contracts for high level executives. Finally, he regularly provides preventive employment law counseling to his clients, developing and implementing employment policies in a variety of employment settings.
Some recent representative litigations include:
Won Trial Verdict: Won a trial verdict on behalf of a major motion picture studio in an action brought by the EEOC on behalf of a first assistant director in regard to termination on a major motion picture production - this high profile case lasted four years, included close to fifty depositions, and raised complex issues concerning the intersection of the DGA Agreement and federal law;
Won Summary Judgment: Obtained summary judgment for a major motion picture studio in a race discrimination lawsuit brought by an African American security guard, in spite of conflicting testimony by the studio’s own employees;
Won Trial Verdict: Won a trial victory in a multi-million dollar gender discrimination and sexual harassment lawsuit brought against an employer in the glass manufacturing and installation business;
Won Summary Judgment: Obtained summary judgment for a national food service provider in a disability discrimination lawsuit in federal court; and
Favorable Settlements: Represented a Fortune 500 company in more than fifteen employment lawsuits, throughout California, in both state and federal courts, many of which were settled for no money.
